You were my rainbow,
My silver lining gold,
And through you, my everything,
Rhymed, ebbed, flowed.

You were my echo,
Before I uttered a word,
You knew my every thought,
Before it was told.

Your arms held me, tenderly,
in the softness of light,
A thousand years I could have stayed,
In every perfect night.

You shined as my Knight,
Saviour from my demons,
Only to savagely ravish me,
